a little on the lighter side...
A few stories about some of my family and friends...
My daughter. She's pretty special to me, for sure. I think I "guitared" her to death, though... I played guitar long, long, long before the thought of children ever entered my mind. So, while I was pregnant with her, she had to have felt the vibrations of my guitar when she was in the womb. How thrilled she was to finally "get away from the guitar" when she was getting married. But, unfortunately for her, her new husband began playing the guitar right after their marriage, so she still lives with the sound of acoustic strumming...
As a young girl, she would ALWAYS say a "song prayer" with me right before I would get up to sing at church. That's one of my favorite memories, and she's still always eager to encourage and support my music with her prayers.
She did give me the challenge of a lifetime when she was planning her wedding. She wanted me to sing, she wanted me to write a song just for this occasion, she did NOT want it recorded, I was not to have anyone else play the music... she wanted it live just the way she heard me sing and play guitar all of her life; AND she didn't want to hear the song until the actual ceremony.

EVERYONE needs a friend named "Cookie!"
Just be prepared. If you're going to be around her, you're going to have fun. She is also a "from birth music lover", so we totally understand each other. She writes, sings, records; crazy about music, too.
